Michael Chang, MD, FACC | Medical Director, Cardiovascular Services
Dr. Michael Chang has been affiliated with Mercy and Sacramento Service area since 1991. Dr. Chang is a graduate of Brown University School of Medicine. Following his internal medicine residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School, he completed a cardiovascular fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women?s Hospital. Dr. Chang completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Medical College of Virginia Hospital. He is board certified in cardiovascular medicine. |

David Magorien, MD, FACC | Medical Director, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Non-Invasive Cardiology Services
Dr. David Magorien has been affiliated with Mercy since 1984. Dr. Magorien is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine. Following his internal medicine residency at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, he completed a cardiovascular fellowship at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Magorien is board certified in cardiovascular disease medicine. |

Allen Morris, MD, FACS | Medical Director, Cardiac Surgical Services
Dr. Allen Morris has been cardiovascular surgeon with Mercy Hospitals since 1990. Dr. Morris is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. Following surgical internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he completed a research fellowship at Brown University. His surgical residency was completed at Vanderbilt University and cardiothoracic surgical residency at Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified by American Board of Thoracic Surgeons. |

Padraig O'Neill, MD, FACP, FACC | Medical Director, Electrophysiology Services
Dr. Padraig Gearoid O'Neill has been at Mercy since 1997. Dr. O'Neill is a graduate of University College Galway, Ireland. He completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular fellowship and electrophysiology fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in cardiac electrophysiology. |

Kapil Sharma, MD | Medical Director, Advanced Aortic & Endovascular Therapies
Dr. Kapil Sharma has been a cardiothoracic surgeon with Mercy since 2008. Dr. Sharma is a graduate of McGill University, Canada. He completed his cardiac surgery residency at McGill University and advanced aortic surgery and heart failure fellowships at Stanford University. He is board certified by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in the specialty of Cardiac Surgery. |

Sinai Hospital and fellowship at University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Hemphill is board certified in internal medicine and interventional cardiology. |

Dr. Stephen Morrison joined Mercy team center in 1976. Dr. Morrison received his medical degree at University of California, Irvine and completed his residency and fellowship at Sacramento Medical Center. Dr. Morrison is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. |

Dr. Kevin Stokke Began his career at Woodland Healthcare in 1984. Dr. Stokke is a graduate of Creighton University Medical School in Omaha, Nebraska, where he also completed a residency and fellowship at affiliated hospitals. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. |

Doris Frazier, RN, MS | Vice President, Mercy Heart & Vascular Institute, Sacramento Service Area
Doris joined Mercy Sacramento and Catholic Healthcare West in 2006, bringing a wealth of experience in cardiovascular nursing and cardiovascular administration. She is an active member of the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators, serves on the Board of the American Heart Association of Sacramento and is a presenter on cardiovascular topics at national symposia. Doris works collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other leaders to develop and enhance the cardiovascular services provided by Mercy to the community and beyond. |
