It's easy to find out the health of your heart. And vital. As Northern California's proven leader in cardiac care, Mercy Heart & Vascular Institute encourages you to take advantage of our Cardiac HealthScreen. 
 
Are you at risk for a heart attack? You may be if any of these apply to you:
  • Diabetes 
  • Smoking
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Over age 50
  • Family history of heart disease
Cardiac HealthScreen  This one-hour HealthScreen includes a nurse consultation and the following tests, which will be reviewed by a physician:
  • Comprehensive risk factor evaluation including blood pressure, body mass index and waist circumference
  • Specialized cholesterol and blood glucose lab tests
  • 12 Lead EKG to measure electrical functions of the heart
Cardiac HealthScreens are offered the SECOND WEEK of every month. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento; Tuesday and Thursday at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael. You can schedule this (or any of the other available health screenings) yourself; no referral required.
 
$95 per Cardiac HealthScreen; payable by cash, check or credit card. Your insurance will not be billed.
